YC E-Sports Sweeps Competition in Weeks Two and Three

Weeks two and three of the fall NJCAA E-Sports season are in the books and with it came nothing but wins for the Yavapai College Roughriders.

The Rocket League team, which competes on Mondays at 4 p.m., comprised of Logan Kunow, Devon Long, Drake Long, Owen Thomas and Patrick Willoughby earned a 3-2 victory over Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in week two and earned a 3-0 victory over Umpqua Community College in week three. The team now sits at 3-0 on the season.

Competing in SSBU, Manti Farnsworth earned a 3-0 win over Atlantic Cape Community College in week two before defeating Three Rivers College 3-1 in week three to push his overall record to 2-1 on the season. 

Also competing in SSBU, Charles Fenwick earned a 3-1 victory over Dallas College – El Centro in week two and won 3-1 in week three over Umpqua Community College. Fenwick is 3-0 in SSBU this season. 

The SSBU teams compete on Wednesdays at 3 p.m. and following them is Champion Reifenkugel who competes in Hearthstone at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays.

In week two, Reifenkugel earned a 2-0 victory (opponent forfeited the third game) over Hocking College before taking home a 3-0 win over Dawson Community College in week three to push his record to a perfect 3-0.
