With great sadness, we are asking the community to help bring a young man home

Hi, my name is Vanessa Arredondo. My family recently has had some tragic news. We are sorry to announce the unexpected passing of my brother Robert Poblano. He passed away in a car accident in Coos Bay, Oregon on January 2nd, 2022. He was with a co-worker/friend they had spent the day fishing on New Year’s Day and never returned home, they were both found the next morning in the river where both had died.

We are trying to bring my brother Robert back home to Prescott where he is from, he was 36 years old. Very young, his death is a tragedy to our family and very unexpected. That is why we need help with costs.

Robert only lived in Oregon for a little over 2 years and really changed his life around. He found God and was baptized in Oregon in 2020.

He worked at YMarina detailing boats, he loved his job and all the people he worked with. Everyone there loved him and has been so supportive, loving, and beyond helpful.

We are still trying to raise money to cover the expenses of getting him here, the funeral which we would like to have at heritage, and his burial here locally.

Robert’s GoFundMe account is https://www.gofundme.com/f/7axdf-roberts-funeral-expenses

Jose Perez Ramirez was my brother’s friend and co-worker he left behind a fiancé and two kids they also have a GoFundMe account set up and are in the same situation we are. They’re trying to bring Jose home to California and need help with funeral expenses. This is Jose’s GoFundMe account info; https://www.gofundme.com/f/funeral-expenses-forjose-perez-ramirez.

Thank you

Vanessa Arredondo
