    WEAPON MISCONDUCT AT COMMUNITY PARK

    On Friday, November 20, 2020, the Prescott Valley Police Department learned of a subject who pointed a firearm at several juveniles and threatened bodily harm. This occurred on Wednesday, November 18 at approximately 6:00 PM at Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley. After extensive investigation, two search warrants were issued for two residences in the 4400 hundred block of Mobile Circle West in Prescott Valley.

    On Friday, December 4, 2020 at approximately 9:00 PM, the Prescott Valley Police and YCSO SWAT teams carried out the search warrants which eventually led to the arrest of 18-year-old Luis Angel Diaz. He was booked into Yavapai County Detention Center and charged with two felonies (Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon, Misconduct Involving Weapons), and one misdemeanor (Threat Causing Physical Injuries).
