Description of work to be done: Blasting for a new Bungalows on the corner of Market Street & Great Western Trail in Prescott Valley.
Blasting will occur at: Corner of Market Street & Great Western Trail (see map)
Blasting will be held from: April 12-14 with one shot each day at 12:00 noon.
List of methods intended to be used to safeguard persons and properties:
1. Residents in the area will not see any flying rock and or debris (Just a slight rumble will be felt or heard)
2. Blasting signs and traffic control (15 minutes road closures while blasting is being performed)
3. 5 minute warning: 1 minute long whistle
4. 1 minute warning: 30 second long whistle
5. That shot will be performed
6. Long whistle indicates all clear
Local police, fire, town officials, and nearby residents have been notified and are aware of the operation. Work is being done by Earth Resources Corporation.
