UPDATE-Chino Valley- Missing Endangered Subjects


    Chino Valley Police Department continues to diligently work on locating David, Elissa and Elissa’s vehicle.

    Chino Valley Police Department investigators have been in Waterloo, IA for the past several days working with local authorities tracking down leads and recovering evidence connected to this investigation.

    Mitchel Mincks has refused to cooperate with the investigation. He remains jailed on unrelated charges.

    Several members of the public have informed us about animals recovered in Waterloo, IA. Those were in fact Elissa’s animals. They are being safely held at the local animal shelter.

    At this time David, Elissa and Elissa’s vehicle have not been located. They are described below:

    Elissa’s vehicle is a Blue 2013 Subaru Forester bearing Arizona Women Veteran plate WV1236.

    David Batten is 45 years old, 6’ 00’ tall, weighs approximately 255 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes. David goes by the name Nick.

    Elissa Landry is 28 years old, 5” 10” tall, weighs approximately 155 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes. Elissa goes by the name Ellie.
