On the morning of July 19,2022 the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a concerned citizen regarding the aggravated assault on July 11, 2022, involving a victim with gunshot wounds. The caller stated they believed to have seen Lana Reiber driving in the Cherry Creek Rd and Federal Mines Rd area, and that she was headed back to the property where the assault took place. YCSO detectives and deputies responded to the call. Upon arrival, contact was made with Reiber.
She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the YCSO substation in Camp Verde for an interview and subsequent booking. YCSO personnel are aware of the animals housed on the property and are working with the Yavapai Humane Society to ensure they are properly cared for until other arrangements are made.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT. YCSO ASKING FOR PUBLICS HELP IN LOCATING AN INVESTIGATIVE LEAD
On Monday July 11, 2022, at 11:25am, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the fire station on SR 169 in Dewey, where a male reportedly walked in suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Upon arrival to the fire station, Deputies learned that the man was being flown to a Phoenix hospital for care. This is an ongoing investigation and YCSO is asking for the public’s help in locating Lana Mia Drucilla Reiber in connection with this incident.
