TRI-CITY SPEED ENFORCEMENT TASK FORCE

On Wednesday morning, January 26, 2022, police officers from Prescott Valley Police Department, Prescott Police Department, and Yavapai County Sherriff’s Office conducted a speed enforcement detail on State Highway Route 89A in the Prescott and Prescott Valley area. Officers working this detail focused on stopping reckless and aggressive drivers, which included speeding and other traffic violations. Officers stopped 65 vehicles, made one arrest, and issued 74 citations. 

Thanks to the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, the Tri-City Speed Enforcement Task Force will continue to conduct traffic enforcement throughout the area to slow motorists down and reduce vehicle collisions.

The Tri-City Speed Enforcement Task Force encourages drivers to report erratic driving behavior and to contact 911 in case of emergency.
