The Town of Prescott Valley Water System in December 2021 received the designation of “Outstanding Performer” from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.
“This is a designation given to a community water system with no violations for a set period of time. The water system has been diligent in meeting all monitoring and reporting requirements and as a result they will be put on a five-year inspection schedule instead of the normal three-year inspections schedule,” said Jason Bobko, MBA Manager, Drinking Water Engineering Review, Technical Assistance and Operator Certification Unit, ADEQ.
The Town contracts with Jacobs, a private company, for water and sewer operations and maintenance.
