Missing Person at Camp Yavapines
On Tuesday morning April 12, 2022, Camp Yavapines Management was notified that a volunteer and RV park resident was missing. Camp Management, staff and members of a visiting church group began a search for the missing individual. After a preliminary search did not locate the missing person the Prescott Police Department was notified at 11:15 am. Prescott Police Department began to conduct a search and that search is ongoing with members of both the Prescott Police Department and the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office. Camp Yavapines Management is cooperating fully with the authorities.

Camp Yavapines is a youth camp and retreat center located at 2999 W. Iron Springs Rd in Prescott, Arizona. It is owned by the Arizona Conference Corporation of Seventh-day Adventists located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Camp Yavapines is a year around facility that operates as a youth camp during the summer and a retreat center for church groups throughout the rest of the year. The camp has been in operation since 1947.
