After a stellar 2022 campaign, Yavapai baseball’s redshirt-sophomore outfielder Sean Rimmer has earned NJCAA First-Team All-America honors the NJCAA announced Monday morning. Rimmer also earned First-Team All-America honors from the ABCA (American Baseball Coaches Association) on Monday morning.
On the season, Rimmer hit .402 (led the conference) with 43 runs scored, 72 hits, 13 doubles, 18 homers (led the conference during the regular season), 69 RBIs, 14 walks and eight steals.
In addition to the two First-Team All-America honors that he garnered on Monday, Rimmer also earned ACCAC Player of the Year, First-Team All-Conference, First Team All-Region and ACCAC Player of the Week (April 25 after homering five times in a four-game span) honors during the 2022 season.
