During the week of April 17th, 2022, the Traffic Safety Section of the Prescott Police Department conducted extra traffic enforcement in the downtown area. Officers concentrated their efforts on these roadways looking for dangerous and reckless violations to include speeding violations. In total, officers stopped 71 vehicles which resulted in 111 traffic violations.
The Prescott Police Department will continue traffic enforcement details throughout the city in an attempt to slow traffic down in order to reduce serious traffic crashes.
