Carson Ramocinski was named Cal Pac Player of the Week for April 11-17, as the sophomore shortstop shined in the Eagles conference series win over La Sierra last week. Ramocinski had 12 hits in 20 at-bats, drove in 15 runs, and had five extra-base hits in the four games in Riverside.
Ramocinski hit his first career home run during the first game on Friday, and then added even more offense in the second game of the doubleheader. He had seven RBI, the most in a game in program history, and was a home run short of the cycle.
Ramocinski added his second round-tripper of the year in the opening game on Saturday while driving in four more runs in that contest. He had a pair of RBI in the series finale later that afternoon and had another double.
Ramocinski is the first Eagle in program to earn conference Player of the Week honors, as both Aiden Vestbie and Mitchell Mussler have each earned the Pitcher of the Week award. ERAU will host OUAZ on Tuesday afternoon, the start of an eight-game homestand to finish the regular season.
