Pump Track Upgrade At Granite Creek Park

Pump track upgrade at Granite Creek Park – a collaboration between the Prescott Mountain Bike Alliance (PMBA) and the City of Prescott (COP).

PRESCOTT, AZ. Prescott Mountain Bike Alliance (PMBA), announced today that it will soon upgrade the pump track at Granite Creek Park in downtown Prescott.

Tune in EVERY Tuesday!

A pump track is a closed-loop practice track consisting of berms, jumps, rollers connected by bank turns. The rider “pumps” their way through in a continuous loop for as long as they wish, without having to pedal. Riding a pump track is a great way for people to learn and improve MTB skills while gaining confidence and having fun.

The plan is to upgrade the existing pump track to incorporate better flow and more progressive features. It will be expanded by 25% to include a flow lane, a jump lane, and a separate kid’s area. For details go to Prescottmtb.com/pump-track-upgrade.
