PRONGHORN COMMUNITY HOSTS COFFEE WITH A COP
Officers from the Prescott Valley Police Department and community members will again come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink free coffee at its September Coffee with a Cop event. This community meeting will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at the Pronghorn Community Center, 7051 North Antelope Meadows Drive. The public is invited.
“We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns, or simply get to know our officers,” said Police Chief Bob Ticer. “These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships. No speeches, no agendas, just good conversation.”
Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative supported by The United States Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. Similar events are held across the country, as local police departments strive to make lasting connections with the communities they serve.
The program aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time. For further information, contact Jerry Ferguson, 928-772-5114 or email@example.com.
