The Prescott Valley Police Department, with a grant from the office of Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, will be hosting a bicycle rodeo & car seat installation on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from Noon to 3:00 PM in the PVPD parking lot.
Bring your family to a free bike rodeo to teach children about biking skills and safety. Have kids bring their own bikes so that we can check their seats and make sure their bike is safe to ride! There will be a food truck on site, Dwayne’s Divine Dawgs & Catering, selling hot dogs, Polish dogs, Louisiana Hot Links, and more. We will also have the Surprise Fire Department on site to check car seats for citizens.
A car seat check event allows parents and guardians to make sure their car seats are installed properly, not damaged, or expired. Drive through and have your child’s car seat or booster seat inspected by two trained car seat technicians to ensure proper installation.
