Level 3 Sex Offender
The Prescott Police Department is required to release the following information pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 13-3825, The Community Notification on Sex Offenders Law. The offender in this publication is residing in Prescott, Arizona. Notification must be made when certain sex offenders are released from the Arizona State Prison, released from County Jail, or are accepted under an interstate compact. Offenders are categorized into three levels according to their risk to their respective community. Level One 1, Low Risk; Level Two 2-Intermediate Risk; Level Three 3-High Risk.
The individual who appears on this notification, 24-year-old Sergio Ochoa, Jr. has been convicted of a sex offense that allows for community notification. The individual is NOT currently wanted by the Prescott Police Department at this particular time. The individual will be living at 810 Eastwood Dr., Prescott, AZ 86303.
On September 19th, 2017, in Yavapai County, a 21-year-old offender was convicted of Sexual Conduct with a Minor and was sentenced to 10 years probation. The victim was a 17-year-old female known to the offender. On September 16th, 2019, in Yavapai County, a 23-year-old offender violated his probation and was sentenced to 1.5 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections. The offender is currently on Parole.
This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is the belief of the Prescott Police Department that an informed community is a safer community. Anyone who uses this information to commit a criminal act against another is subject to prosecution.
