Chef Alma Zamora was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico in 1980. Alma grew up in the home of Lupita Romero and David Zamora with her little sister Paty Zamora, attending to “Superior de Gastronomia Universidad” the First Gastronomy University in Latin America in Mexico City in 1999. Upon graduating in 2003 with a Gastronomy Degree. She left Mexico to go to Hotsprings, VA in the USA to work at the prestigious “  Omni Homestead Resort “ The First Resort in the USA.

All positions help her to be able to assist in any position where the Resort needs her. This experience enabled her to build and expand her carrier in the F&B industry to make her Bachelor’s Degree stronger.

She met her loving husband Alex Rivera at The Omni Homestead Resort. They have two beautiful daughters, Maya and Thalya. And always by their side is Lupita Romero  (Alma’s mom) supporting their dreams.

Alma moved to Arizona with her family and continued her career at “ Desert Mountain Golf Club “ in Scottsdale, AZ, and she had the great opportunity to become the F&B Director for “ The Enclave at Anthem” and   “Orchard Pointe at Terraza “, both senior livings. She was also part of the Shamrock Food Service Company as an Executive Accounting.

Alma is also the owner of “Bakes & Makes“  (Cupcakes, Sweets, & Fun), named and inspired by her daughters, Maya and Thalya.

Chef Alma Zamora is so proud to be part of the Prescott Community. She said Prescott has a loving and caring feeling in the air, and she cannot be more than happy to live with her family and raise her daughters in a beautiful environment like this.
