The agenda item reads:

Approve Resolution 2094 for the issuance of the Industrial Development Authority of the County of Yavapai’s Hospital Revenue Bond (Northern Arizona Healthcare System), Series 2022 (the”Bonds”) for the Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation, in one or more series or issues and in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed $450,000,000.00.

The request by Josh Tinkle, Acting President & Chief Executive Officer of Northern Arizona Healthcare  Corporation, stated, “I write on behalf of Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation to withdraw our request for the Hospital Revenue Bond Series 2022 issuance, which is currently pending on the Yavapai  County Board of Supervisors’ October 19, 2022, agenda. The item may now be removed from the agenda. We are reevaluating our financing options as we proceed with this project. Should we wish to  continue or reinitiate this process in Yavapai County, we will be in touch.”

Yavapai County Board of Supervisors Chair Mary Mallory has agreed to pull the item from the agenda at the regularly scheduled meeting on 10/19/2022, and the item will not be discussed or voted on.

The Yavapai County Administration Office wanted to make the public aware of this change to prevent any unnecessary travel for anyone that was planning on attending. If the item is added to a future Board meeting, notice will be published a minimum of 24 hours before the meeting.

Anyone wishing to view the meeting online can do so at YavapaiAZ.GOV/meetings.
