PRESCOTT VALLEY PD CONTINUES TO RECEIVE HELPFUL SUPPORT

    FROM THE AZ GOHS

The Prescott Valley Police Department, with the continued support of the Arizona Governor’s Office of  Highway Safety (GOHS), partnered with the Prescott Valley Community Services Department to host their  Halloween event, Haunting on the Green, on October 29, 2021. The event was well attended with many children donning scary and creative costumes. During the bike rodeo portion of the event, children were fitted with free bike helmets, received bicycle and pedestrian safety educational coloring/activity books, participated in a bicycle obstacle course, and received a bike safety check. The Prescott Valley Walmart generously donated ten bicycles for the event which were given away using a free raffle. Ten lucky boys and girls, with bright, big smiles, picked up their bikes at the police department.

Look for our bike patrol at the Valley of the Lights 2021 event on November 30th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at  Fain Park. Prescott Valley Police Department will be distributing bicycle and pedestrian safety equipment and information.

The Prescott Valley Police Department appreciates the generosity of the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety in helping keep citizens safe on our roadways.
