It’s tradition in Prescott, Arizona to go to the Rodeo Dance after the Rodeo. Folks head out to the BMO Harris Bank Parking lot which has a tent set up for the dance. This year ,they bought in Country Local Musician Sky Conwell and Lonesome Valley band to head up the dance which is from Thursday through Saturday every night from 8 pm to 1 pm. The music is non stop and the dance floor is filled with two steps and cowboy cha cha. Popular local musician Sky Conwell has been called Prescott’s busiest musician;with four working bands and a solo act playing all around town nearly every day (often multiple times in one day), he certainly loves music. Each of his bands has a different style of music. The Pop Rocks plays rockabilly, Lonesome Valley band plays country, 99 Years is Johnny Cash tribute, Off The Record is classic rock. Sky is a very versatile musician. The night was perfect to kick up your heels.
