NAZ Wranglers on Mother’s Day

    Prescott Valley, AZ – The NAZ Wranglers IFL Team kicked off Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9, 2021, with a season ticket holder-player pizza party, press conference, and Team scrimmage held at the Findlay Toyota Center. The day started with a 3 PM press conference. Coach Bramante introduced three players: DJ Calhoun from Arizona State University, Verlon Reed, nicknamed the “Franchise” from Ohio State University and former Arizona Rattlers’ player, and Skylor Clinton, local Prescott High School football star and recent Northern Arizona University graduate. Bramante stated, “Our goal is to embrace the community and positively influence the local youth.” The players expressed their excitement to play for the new franchise under Bramante’s leadership. Bramante stated, “The core of our team is founded upon the integrity of each player and the ability to support other players.”

    The doors opened for fans at 3:30 PM with a season ticket holder pick-up including complimentary meals provided by the franchise owners, Chris and Trey Medlock. Fans had the opportunity to get comfortable in their season seats while watching the free, public Team scrimmage which began at 4 PM. All fans were able to engage with NAZ Wranglers’ players on the field to close the day’s festivities. Team President and Owner, Trey Medlock stated, “We are excited to have the players here. We have an amazing coaching staff and today is the beginning to show our community we are here to provide family-friendly, action-packed entertainment.” The NAZ Wranglers will host their first game on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at the Findlay Toyota Center. Tailgate festivities begin at 12 PM and the Findlay Toyota Center doors open at 2 PM with a 3:05 PM game start.
