A Memorial Service for Fallen Prescott Firefighter/EMT Tye James Seets will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the Heights Church, located at 2121 Larry Caldwell Drive, in Prescott, Arizona.
The ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM. Overflow seating will be available if needed.
There will not be a public procession to the church. According to Fire Chief Dennis Light, “the outpouring of support to the Seets/Garcia family has been much welcomed, and as such we’d like to thank the greater Prescott community for all they have done to see us through this very challenging time”.

Vehicles will need to be in place by 0830 on the day of the service. Following the Memorial Service, there will be a Reception and Story Telling gathering at Watson Lake Park, located at 3101 Watson Lake Park Rd. Prescott, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Prescott Firefighters Charities (, of which Tye was the president; or to the Mighty Oaks Foundation (, an organization for veterans suffering from PTSD. For those organizations that cannot donate money through the charities, flowers can be ordered and delivered to the Heights Church by 9:00 AM on Saturday the 27th.
