Hiking for A Cause- The Summit Club

    The Summit Club                                                 #climb4cause

By, David Franks- The Summit Club was established in 2020 by Arizona hikers. The goal of The Summit Club is to organize the outdoor community to create friendships, stewardship, and transformational impacts on local nonprofit organizations. The Summit Club meets this goal by organizing group activities, social gatherings, and fundraising events.

The Powerof22 fundraising event started on February 22nd and runs through March 22nd. The Powerof22 participants are hiking a minimum of (22) miles and are asking (22) donors to sponsor them for $22 dollars. All proceeds, 100% are going to Soldiers Best Friend. Soldiers Best Friend is a 501(c)

3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to pairing and training service dogs with eligible veterans at no cost to the veteran. These dogs have rescued animals, which allows us to touch two lives at the same time. Every day in the United States (22) Veterans commit suicide, we at The Summit Club, through the Powerof22, are determined to do our part to see that number decline.

We exist to support local charities that are making a difference in Arizona. A nonprofit is as strong as the community that holds it up. Together we can do more than we can do alone. Let’s bring our abilities and passions together to affect real change right here where we live.

JOIN US NOW, let us make a difference in our VETERANS COMMUNITY. You can help us by making a GENERAL DONATION to Soldiers Best Friend via The Powerof22. Follow the link below and make your donation, any amount with HELP!!
