Fourteen candidates to vie Thursday for an open seat on Town Council
This Thursday, 14 candidates will make brief presentations to the Prescott Valley Town Council during its Work Study Meeting.
The candidates are applying to fill the seat that became available after former Councilmember Mary Mallory accepted appointment as District 5 Supervisor for the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. That seat became open when former District 5 Supervisor Jack Smith took the position of Arizona state director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development.
The Prescott Valley Council will appoint one of the candidates to fill the vacant seat after final presentations on September 5, 2019. The hopeful candidates are Charles Ables, Christopher Behrens, Brenda Dickinson, Terry Dickinson, Jamie Goeringer, Lori Hunt, Linda Mast, Romona Ogburn, Lorraine Ratcliffe, Andrew Reinhardt, Bill Suksi, Anastasia Van Gelder, Bill Williams, and Mary Williams.
The Work-Study Meeting will take place on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. in the Prescott Valley Public Library Auditorium at 7401 E Skoog Blvd.
