UPDATE: MISSING WOMAN FOUND NO FOUL PLAY INVOLVED
On September 4, 2022, Whitney Collins was reported missing. After multiple days of searching, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office detectives received a tip of a credible sighting of Whitney near the entertainment district of Prescott Valley. Detectives eventually located Whitney in the area, reporting she had a friendly, alert, and oriented demeanor. Her reasons for sudden departure were personal and didn’t involve other persons or foul play. Whitney states she left her place of employment, Friendly Pines Camp in Prescott Az, on foot the morning of September 4 and had been walking since. Immediate family was contacted, and they took her into their care.
Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office has located the missing woman Whitney Collins safe in Prescott Valley. She is currently with YCSO deputies. There are no further details about her reasons for her departure.
