At approximately 2pm on June 14, 2022, Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking (PANT) detectives were heading south on Hwy 69 in Prescott Valley, when they noticed a white van traveling rapidly directly behind them. The van was not slowing down so detectives maneuvered their vehicle to avoid being hit. The van narrowly missed the rear driver side of the detective’s vehicle. The van came to a stop in the left turn lane on Hwy 69 and Stoneridge without further incident.
Detectives approached the vehicle and saw that the driver, Tristan Odegard-Brown, showed major signs of drug impairment, and detained him. During this process, detectives noticed burnt tinfoil on the front passenger floorboard, as well as an ignition interlock device installed in the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, approximately 200 fentanyl pills were located, and an additional 10 pills were found on Odegard-Brown.

He has been charged with possession of narcotics for sale, endangerment, and other drug related charges including aggravated DUI. He is in custody at Yavapai County Jail.
Thank goodness the cops got him off the street and saved 200 lives! Kudos to you officers!
Thanks to our policemen!
Every day those men and women put their lives on the line!
If it were possible I would shake each and every cops’ hand.
Even when I posed a danger on the highway, I thanked the officer. Who knows, he probably saved my idiot life.
Thank you all!
