On November 2nd the Prescott Valley Police Department presented an Underage Driving Under Impairment presentation. Prescott Valley was joined by the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Prescott Police Department,  Arizona State Troopers (DPS), Central Yavapai Medical Authority, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD),  Spectrum, and Teen Crisis. The presentation consisted of driving under impairment education, officers and family members talking about losing family or friends in fatal DUI crashes, alternatives to driving while impaired, and emotional support.

Many participants and officers donated their time and funds to this project. We will continue to work on this project with the goal of having another event at a local high school in the spring of 2023. The Prescott Valley  Police Department would like to thank everyone who helped with this event.
