Microseal on Viewpoint and Superstition Delayed

Due to recent monsoon storms, the micro surface that was scheduled to be placed on Viewpoint Drive and Superstition Drive has been postponed until next week, August 1‐5, weather permitting. Road closures and detour routes will be in place in these areas. There will be road closures in these areas and detour routes will be in place. Public Works suggests that citizens choose alternate routes when traveling in this area.

Southwest Slurry Seal is the contractor for the project. Residents should be aware that curing for the newly placed micro surface will take 4 to 5 hours after placement before traffic can proceed as normal, and roadways will be completed one half at a time.
