Man airlifted to Phoenix Hospital After Friday Night Stabbing; Suspect Arrested

An 18-year-old male was airlifted to a Phoenix area hospital with serious injuries Friday night, Sept. 2, after he  was stabbed by another male during a fight in the Prescott Valley Safeway store parking lot.

Prescott Valley Police officers responded to the call at 9:11 p.m. After extensive investigation, officers identified, arrested, and booked the suspect, a 16-year-old teen, on multiple felony charges including  aggravated assault. Officers also recovered evidence that connected the suspect to the crime. 

The victim has since been reported in stable condition.  

No further information is available at this time as this is an ongoing investigation.
