Update… Our condolences goes out to all involved…

The deceased have been identified as 61-year-old Dwight Field and 55-year-old Brenda Field. Both are Canadian citizens. Toxicology is pending on Dwight Field who was driving the MC with Brenda as his passenger. The preliminary cause has not changed – MC drove left of the centerline into oncoming traffic colliding head on with a motorhome. Final report is pending. 

PRESCOTT, AZ: On February 23, 2021, at approximately 3 PM, YCSO deputies responded to a collision on Iron Springs Road near mile marker 5, located between  Skull Valley and Prescott, Arizona. 

The collision involved a motorcycle and a motorhome. Based on witness statements  and evidence at the scene, it appears the southbound motorcycle crossed over the  center line into opposing traffic and collided head-on with a motorhome traveling  north. The motorcycle driver and his passenger, who were both wearing  helmets, sustained fatal injuries. The driver and passenger in the  motorhome sustained minor injuries. 

YCSO is currently working on making the next-of-kin notification and will not identify the two people killed in the collision until the family has been notified. YCSO’s Collision  Investigation Team is handling the investigation. Iron Springs Road remained closed until 9 PM.
