ILLEGAL DRUG ABUSE IMPACTS OUR COMMUNITY
Prescott Valley Police Department reports that illegal drug abuse continues to impact our community, endangering the lives of those using the drugs, their families, along with law enforcement officers who encounter drug users.

Prescott Valley police have made seventy-four drug-related arrests from March 1 to July 31, 2022. Nine firearms were recovered from vehicles during those drug arrests. Methamphetamine and fentanyl continue to be the most abused drugs. Additionally, officers responded to eight drug overdose calls, five of which resulted in death of the user.
Prescott Valley Police Department appreciates the tireless work of MATFORCE, the Prescott Fentanyl Working Group, and other community volunteers in helping combat the illegal use of drugs in our community. If you are aware of any illegal drug use, contact your local law enforcement agency.

Your ridiculous, where are the resources for those in the battle with drug use and just because someone uses drugs does it mean they are criminals.
