The Matadors

Arizona Western (the DI ACCAC Champions) went 16-7 overall in the regular season with a 10-3 mark in ACCAC contests.

The Roughriders

Yavapai earned a 14-12 overall record during the regular season and went 8-5 in conference play.

Previous Matchups

The teams traded epic five-set duels in their first couple of meetings with Arizona Western emerging victorious in Yuma on September 24 followed by a Roughrider victory at home on October 20. The third meeting featured a much smoother four-set victory for Yavapai to close out the regular season on Sophomore Night.

Players To Watch

Freshman outside hitter Kierslynn Wright and sophomore middle blocker Paiten Langston both earned all-region honors this season while Wright also took home all-conference honors. Look for Wright to continue to lead the offense and Langston to continue to dominate at the net.
