Saturday, June 25, 2022, Amateur Radio Field Day
Where the spirit of Amateur Radio Past joins forces with the Next Generation of Innovations, Interests and Individuals!!!
The Yavapai Amateur Radio Club will be participating in “ARRL Field Day” from the Yavapai Jeep Posse Facility, 1200 Commerce Drive, Prescott on June 25. The community is invited to visit from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We will have two radio stations operating, and a demonstration station you can use under supervision of a licensed operator. Club members will be available to talk about amateur radio, public service, licensing classes and related activities. Drop in and meet us.

Field Day is the most popular on-the-air operating event in amateur radio. On the fourth full weekend in June, tens of thousands of amateur radio operators gather for a public demonstration of our service. Field Day is part educational event, part operating event, part public relations event and ALL about FUN!
STUDENT RADIO SCIENCE EXHIBITION Under the auspices of the Amateur Radio Council of Arizona and YARC, we will again have Youth Radio Science Club Exhibition. There will be several programs to share; transmitter hunting, robotics, electronic name badges will be displayed and build programs for interested youth and adults. We are inviting all students, their families, and youth organizations to join us for an exciting and interactive “Radio Science Day,”
