Governor Doug Ducey will join the 48th Vice President of the United States on Monday when Mike Pence delivers a public policy address on border security issues.
In coming to Arizona, Vice President Pence is visiting a state that is at the forefront of the national security and humanitarian crisis at the border. Last year, more fentanyl was seized in southern Arizona than in the previous two years combined.

Governor Ducey recently joined 25 governors in the creation of the American Governors’ Border Strike Force to help secure the southern border. The governor is also calling on social media companies to step up and take action to protect youth from cartel recruiting messages luring them into transnational human smuggling activity.
