Fourteen first responders from Life Line Ambulance, part of the Global Medical Response family of companies, will take the next step in their career advancement and return to school to become paramedics. Life Line Ambulance will be paying for the tuition of the 14 EMTs while also compensating them to go to school, adding a new layer to the award-winning Earn While You Learn (EWYL) program.

“We are excited to invest in the education and advancement of our employees,” said Eileen Rafters,  operations manager for Life Line Ambulance. “Providing quality care and highly trained clinicians are  important to our organization and are essential elements of our local EMS system.”

Since launching the Earn While You Learn Program in 2018, American Medical Response has graduated over 1,000 EMS professionals nationwide. The program has made a career in emergency medical services more accessible, ensuring that a candidate is paid while training.

Members of the local media are invited to reach out to Life Line to interview company officials, learn more  about the program and how the community can get involved.
