    FLEEING FELONY SUSPECT APPREHENDED

    On Monday, November 16, 2020, Prescott Valley Patrol Officers attempted to make a civil traffic stop on a Green Dodge Grand Caravan on Route 69 in Prescot Valley. The vehicle failed to yield to emergency lights and sirens and continued traveling west on State Route 69. The driver of the vehicle continuously made obscene hand signs towards the officers and then forced two (2) vehicles off the roadway.

    The driver of the vehicle was 56-year-old Paul Alan Frankowski who resides in Prescott Valley. Frankowski had posted videos on Facebook stating that he will shoot the next officer who tries to contact him. 

    After extensive investigation, Frankowski was arrested by Prescott Valley Police SWAT in Prescott on Wednesday night, November 18, 2020. He was booked into Yavapai County Detention Center in Verde Valley and charged with felony flight and felony endangerment. Prescott Valley Police express appreciation to the Prescott Police Department for their assistance in this incident.

    Fleeing from police officers who are attempting to stop you is a crime with serious consequences. When you see emergency lights activated behind you on the roadway, you are required to pull over to the right of the roadway and stop.
