Yavapai County in west central Arizona… Until 500 PM MST. At 158 PM MST,

Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD…Life-threatening flash flooding.

Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE…Radar. IMPACT…Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include… Prescott, Prescott Valley, Oak Knoll Village, Groom Creek Subdivision, Downtown Prescott, Indian Hill West Prescott, Ponderosa Park, Prescott Gateway Mall, Walker, White Spar Campground, Upper Wolf Creek Group Campground, Lower Wolf Creek Campground and Lynx Lake Dam.

This includes the following highways…

State Route 69 between mile markers 293 and 296. State Route 89 between mile markers 303 and 318. State Route 89A near mile marker 318. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers… Bannon Creek, Miller Creek, Turkey Creek, Hassayampa River, Bottleneck Wash, Butte Creek, Big Bug Creek, Willow Creek, Wolf Creek, Lynx Creek, Granite Creek, Mint Wash and Milk Creek.
