On June 7, 2019 a historic event occurred in the Arizona desert. The first industrial hemp seeds were sown into Arizona soil as an agricultural crop, or at least since anyone alive can remember. Patrick Horsman, President & CEO of Integrated CBD handed over the first bags of hemp seed to Director of Farming Richard Phelps to empty into the hoppers of a six-row seed planter. No big fanfare, no big ceremony, just getting to business as a true farmer would do. However, this event will stand as a monumental first for Arizona.
