Emily Dix Earns ACCAC Pitcher of the Week Honors
For the seventh time this season, Yavapai softball’s sophomore pitcher Emily Dix has been named the ACCAC Pitcher of the Week the conference office announced late Monday night. The Roughriders have now earned 16 ACCAC Pitcher/Player of the Week honors in 2022.

Dix pitched in three of YC’s six games last week for a total of 11 innings in which she struck out 21 while allowing just two earned runs.
Overall, Dix is 22-1 with a 1.67 ERA and 221 strikeouts in 125.2 innings pitched. In the country, she is tied for third in wins, is fourth in strikeouts and is third in strikeouts-per-seven innings.
