EARLY-BIRD REGISTRATION OPENS FOR ALLIANCE OF ARIZONA NONPROFITS’ 2022 ENGAGE CONFERENCE
One-Day Conference Features 2 Keynote Speakers and Multiple Workshops
After convening the annual conference virtually in 2020 and 2021, the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits has announced that the 2022 ENGAGE Nonprofit Conference will be in person from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 24 at Desert Willow Conference Center, 4340 E Cotton Center Blvd in Phoenix.
Early-bird registration is now open for the conference, which engages and informs nonprofit staff, board and volunteers in effective leadership and collaboration to rebuild, strengthen and succeed. This year’s conference includes an Arizona Grantmakers Forum (AGF)-hosted learning track for philanthropic organizations.
Early bird pricing through June 1 is $109 for Alliance and Arizona Grantmakers Forum members ($99 for each additional member) and $149 for nonmembers ($139 for each additional registrant). After June 1, pricing for Alliance and AGF members is $119 ($109 for each additional member) and $149 for nonmembers ($139 for each additional registrant).
Because the Alliance strives to ensure the conference is accessible to all nonprofits, full scholarships are available courtesy of Vitalyst Health Foundation and Abbett Family Foundation.

The opening session keynote speaker is Dr. S. Atyia Martin, CEM, CEO and Founder of All Aces, Inc. a company that activates consciousness, catalyzes critical thinking and transforms capabilities advancing racial equity and build resilience in organizations.
In her engaging session under the theme Resilient Organizational Culture by Embedding Equity, Dr. Martin will discusswhat a resilient and equitable organizational culture looks like and will provide knowledge and tools for participants to play an active role in transforming their organizations.
The luncheon keynote speaker is Maisha Hagan, CEO & Head Coach of Beauty & the Boss, which assists growth-minded, mid-career women prepare and position themselves for career advancement, promotion and pivot opportunities. Her keynote topic, Personal Leadership: What it means and Why It Matters, will underscore seven important facets of personal leadership for visionary leaders.
