The Opponents

Soka (0-4-3, 0-1-1 Cal Pac): The Lions started its season with a pair of ties against GSAC opponents, but had lost four straight before a tie with Antelope Valley last Saturday. Soka has also scored just one goal in the month of September, coming in its 2-1 loss to Simpson on September 11.

Saint Katherine (3-2-2, 0-1-1 Cal Pac): The Firebirds had a good effort against one of the league’s best teams last weekend, getting a 2-2 draw against (RV)UC Merced. Saint Katherine did drop its opening conference game 2-0 against Park-Gilbert, but had entered Cal Pac play at 3-1-1. USK will play at Westcliff on Thursday, two days before Saturday’s showdown.

Eagle Notes

Djougher Oliveira had an excellent week in the Cal Pac openers, recording two goals and two assists. He picked up two assists against Pacific Union, then scored a pair of goals 3:07 apart to rally the Eagles in a 2-1 victory against Simpson.

Oliveira has four assists on the season, which ranks as second best in the Cal Pac. Alex Frances has also been dishing out his share of assists, as he is tied for fourth in the conference with three helpers.

It has been a balanced offense for the Eagles, as ten different players have scored for ERAU this season. Frances and Oliveira lead the way with three each, with Paul Fulop and Lucas Garcia having a pair each.

The Eagles have also been firing shots when they have the opportunity, averaging 12.8 per game. ERAU also has 47 shots on goal so far this season, which ranks third most in the Cal Pac.
