EAGLES FALL IN ANOTHER NON-CONFERENCE SHOOTOUT

The Embry-Riddle had another high scoring mid-week non-conference game, but ended up on the wrong end of the final score this time around. The Eagles fell to Arizona Christian 19-13 in the final non-conference game in the regular season, and it was another outstanding day at the plate for ERAU.

The Eagles scored ten of its 13 runs between the fourth and fifth innings, even briefly taking its first lead of the game in the fifth. In that fifth frame, the Owen Cain had a two-run double, then Roberto Garza-Nunez had a bases-loaded double to give them the lead.

Luke Jepsen had a perfect day at the plate, going 4-for-4 and scoring three runs. Blake Moore had three hits and drove in a pair as well.

Josh Beattie drove in a pair of runs with his single during the fourth inning, and was one of five players to have a 2+ RBI performance on Tuesday. Eagle pitching combined to strike out 13 Firestorm batters during the contest.
