LEVEL #2 SEX OFFENDER ALERT
The Prescott Valley Police Department is releasing the following information pursuant to ARS 13-3825 The Community Notification of Sex Offenders Law. The offender in this publication is living in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Notification must be made when certain sex offenders are released from the Arizona State Prison, released from County Jail, or are accepted under an interstate compact. Offenders are categorized into three levels according to their risk to the community: Level one (1)-low risk; Level two (2)-intermediate risk; Level three (3)- high risk.
The individual who appears on this notification has been convicted of a sex offense that allows for community notification. He is NOT wanted by the Prescott Valley Police at this time.
This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed community is a safer community. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated. COMMENTS: On February 18, 2014, in Yavapai County, 19 yr old offender was convicted of 6 Counts of Attempted Sexual Conduct with a Minor, of a 13 year old female that was known to him. Offender was sentenced to 5 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections and was placed on Lifetime Probation. Defendant cannot reside with or have contact with any child under 18. Defendant shall not go to or loiter near school yards, parks, playgrounds, arcades or places primarily used by children under the age of 18. Defendant shall not socialize with anyone who has children under the age of 18.
