UPDATE: As of 4pm the Arcosanti Fire is 75% contained with no change in acreage. Crews are monitoring for interior smokes and working to secure any uncontained line. We have a couple of wildfire updates for you: #ArcosantiFire is 25% contained at 282 acres; updated acreage due to better mapping. No additional growth overnight and containment lines are holding.
Some resources have been released with the exception of #AZForestry‘s Diablo Canyon and Lewis T2 hand crews, some engines and a water tender. The human-caused fire started Monday 5/16, north of Cordes Lakes. At this time, there is no impact to Interstate 17.
#SmugglersFire is 100% contained at 20 acres. The fire started Sunday northwest of Sasabe in Pima County. The fire will remain in monitor status over the next few days. #AZFire
