$10,000 REWARD OFFERED FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO AN ARREST IN A COLD CASE
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect(s) involved in a 23-year-old double Homicide case.
On April 23, 1999, the bodies of two homicide victims were found in a drainage ditch between the pull-out and the boundary fence off Highway 93, between the towns of Wickenburg and Wickieup. They both had gunshot wounds to the head. The victims were later identified as 39-year-old Mesa, AZ resident William Rodriguez and 20-year-old Phoenix resident Rebecca Rubalcava.


Rodriguez was a Puerto Rican male five feet 10 inches tall, 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was also known as “Cuba” or Cubano.” Rubalcava was a white female five feet 7 inches tall, 140 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. She also sometimes went by Rebecca LaRue.
Anyone who provides information leading to an arrest in this case, could earn up to a $10,000 cash reward.
