ANGELICA HERNANDEZ-WILLIAMS NAMED DIRECTOR OF RURAL PROGRAMS, REPLACING RETIRING ROBIN HANSON

Angelica Hernandez-Williams has been promoted to Director of Rural Programs at the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits

Hernandez-Williams of Sierra Vista will replace Robin Hanson, who will retire after six years with the Alliance. 

Hernandez-Williams currently serves as the Alliance’s Rural Development Manager, helping provide educational opportunities for nonprofits to achieve their mission and assisting with placing AmeriCorps VISTA members in rural Arizona. In her new position, she also will oversee the AmeriCorp VISTA program.

Hernandez-Williams has received Congressional and State recognition for her work with Veterans. She has also been honored as a Top 20 Under 40 in Cochise County and was named one of five Coors Light Líderes of the Year. She will complete her Master of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University in August.

            She is a Certified Business Services Consultant and holds a Nonprofit Management Degree from Cochise College. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication with a Pre-Law Emphasis from NAU and a Masters of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University.
