25 Roughriders, Three Teams Earn NJCAA All-Academic Honors

25 Roughriders, Three Teams Earn NJCAA All-Academic Honors

25 student-athletes and three teams from Yavapai College garnered NJCAA All-Academic honors the association announced Monday morning.

To be eligible for individual honors, student-athletes must achieve a 3.60 GPA or higher with GPA’s ranging from 3.60-3.79 earning Third-Team status, GPA’s ranging from 3.80-3.99 earning Second-Team status and 4.0 GPA’s earning First-Team status. 

To be eligible for team honors, teams must earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The volleyball team (3.39 team GPA), baseball team (3.18 team GPA) and softball team (3.04 team GPA) all earned NJCAA All-Academic Team honors for YC during the 2021-22 athletic year.
